This organically grown tea comes from Pinglin, Taiwan, where mist-covered mountains, forested slopes, and slow-moving cloud cover create an environment of quiet balance and natural resilience. Cultivated without synthetic inputs, the tea garden is tended in harmony with its surrounding ecosystem, allowing insects, plants, and soil to exist in a living, self-regulating relationship.

Part of what defines this tea is its interaction with leafhoppers in the garden. As the insects gently bite the young leaves, the plant responds through its natural defense mechanisms, releasing aromatic compounds while directing energy toward the affected areas. This process encourages the development of layered sweetness and complexity within the leaf, beginning long before processing takes place.

The result is a tea with a rich, honeyed character and soft fruit undertones, shaped in part by this natural dialogue between plant and environment. Subtle oxidation begins in the leaf itself, lending depth and warmth to the final infusion without heaviness or loss of clarity.

Beyond its flavor profile, this tea is often experienced for its energetic quality. It carries a powerful rising Qi—a sensation of lift and expansion that moves gently upward through the body and mind. The experience is not forceful, but buoyant, creating a sense of openness, alertness, and quiet vitality that unfolds gradually across the session.

The liquor is smooth and expressive, opening with bright honey notes that deepen into ripe fruit and soft floral tones. With each infusion, the tea continues to evolve, revealing shifting layers of sweetness and warmth.

Best enjoyed in slow, attentive sessions, this tea offers more than taste alone—it reflects the living conditions of its origin in Pinglin, the subtle intelligence of organic cultivation, and a distinctly uplifting energy that carries the mind into clarity and presence.
