1980's Gong Fu Tea Cup
Vintage porcelain tea cups from the 1980s with classic Qing dyansty revival styling, crafted in the tradition of Ling Long ware, also known as rice grain porcelain. Each cup carries the delicate perforated pattern that becomes luminous when held to the light, revealing the soft translucence that defines this classic technique.
The exterior is hand-painted with intricate blue motifs, accented with fine detailing that has softened gently with time. Together, the patterns reflect the craftsmanship associated with porcelain traditions from Jingdezhen, where this style has long been refined.
Each cup bears a maker’s seal on the base, a quiet mark of origin that connects it to its place within this lineage of ceramic work.
Preserved in excellent condition, these cups retain their clarity and detail, with no visible cracks or wear. More than functional vessels, they carry a sense of continuity, objects shaped by hand, time, and tradition, now entering a new chapter of use within contemporary tea practice.
